 The god and goddess of Jezebel is a constant mention in the Bible,ever since the people of Israel walked into the land of Canaan. God told them not to follow the ways of the Canaanites, but they disobeyed on this. Constantly they walked away from the God of Israel and worshiped other gods and goddess. The so far archaeological finds to point the religious system of the Canaanites to be brutal in its nature there were evidence of child sacrifice, sexual perversion, prostitution,idol worship of different kinds, lawless leaders as king and queen,flaunting wrong use of authority. so on so forth. The Canaanites made the Israelite's to walk in their path of unrighteousness by worshiping pagan gods. Jezebel's Father's Land

The native land of Jezebel is the Phoenician Kingdom. Her father is Ethbaal king of Sidon. Phoenician kingdom comprises of Arwad, Byblos, Berytus, Sidon and Tyre. Ahab's choice:  "And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to  wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethabaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him ." (1Kings16:31). The Phoenicians are part of the Canaanite civilization, occupied the eastern coastal regions of the Mediterranean Sea. This coastal region is filled with thriving economy based on the sea.  The city is well known for commerce right from the ancient days. Mordern day Lebanon is this empire. The Inhabitants of Canaan:   The land of Canaan was inhibited by several tribes; these are  t he Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites The land with seven enemies to be conquered for each tribe of Israel led by the command by the Lord and Joshua was the prime focus. Queen of Satan's Kingdom Why Jezebel is a topic?
